I was celebrating my son's 40th birthday and this was the first time I bought a supermarket cake. I picked a half sheet cake, then half yellow and half chocolate with strawberry filling. It was a hit! everyone loved the cake and wanted to know the bakery. The bakery staff was not only helpful they are talented bakers! Thank you

Love it the people are nice the price is right and most of all the selections are incredible and the Store manager Jimmy is his name is awesome.

I ordered a cake for my daughters baptism and arrived much earlier than I said I would as plans on my end changed last minute. They were finishing preparing the cake when I arrived. Wendy was extremely friendly and patient. She did a beautiful job icing and decorating. Both her and Eric came out to show me the cake when it was finished and it looked just like the picture I had showed that I wanted it to mirror. Eric suggested that I had the little pink flowers for a pop of color to make it stand out. They were right! They did a beautiful job when it was completed. The cake not only looked great, but tasted great as well! We got so many compliments of people asking where it was from. They made this n easy process and I will definitely be back. Thank you Eric & Wendy!!

I go out of my way to shop here. And - it's got a lot of competition. I live near Whole Foods - but drive to Shoprite. Great produce, service and they seem to have expanded their offerings lately. So same quality as WF, and a lot less $$$? Well done. Well done. Can't emphasize enough - the best part is that it is reasonably priced. i.e. - I also live near BJ's and I can't really see a difference in pricing. The Trader Joes up Black Rock is okay, but really small.

This has been my go to spot because they are one of the few grocery stores who stock a certain type of cereal I started to eat as a result of consulting with my nutritionist. Trying to increase my protein intake so she suggested I should try this brand and this is the only place where I can find it. They just recently upgraded their produce section by making some renovations. I like their prices and I can often fold some decent deals.

Horror of horrors! Because of the Shop 'n' Stop strike, I tried ShopRite. It wasn't too bad. Of course I'm not used to it, so my shopping is not as easy as my more familiar Stop 'n' Shop, but ShopRite will fill the void for now. Two things I miss from Stop 'n' Shop. ShopRite does not have the option of using a wand so you can scan your groceries as you shop and check out really fast. In fact, maybe I wasn't being observant, but does it have self checkout lanes? I guess I'll find out if the strike is still going on and I come back. The second thing is they don't have reusable shopping bags (unless I just didn't see them). They bag your groceries in plastic bags. However, I brought my reusable Stop 'n' Shop bags with me and had them use them for bagging. I hope the strike will end soon, but ShopRite will fill the void, and I may even like it a lot if this situation continues.

Your basic shop rite / food supermarket...probably not as big as the other ShopRites that exist elsewhere but oh well. Only real downside is that there's no self checkout. Hopefully it'll be added soon.
